As we flow through the summer months in 2021, there's a constant degree of uncertainty about whether our social service will be able to include the significant connections between people that were enjoyed by Rotary members in previous times. It is clear, however that the hand-to-face tradition remains a part of our routine. Rotary's face has changed. While we are moving through summer of 2021 there is a lot of doubt regarding how Rotary can give the same kind of connection that Rotary members enjoyed in years in the past persists. While the "hands in space" mantra is sure to become a routine in our club it is clear that there is a feeling of trust is growing and more members are making face-to faces connections. Rotary is, however, having changed. Rotary network is a great way to make lasting friendships. In order to keep our meetings online, we've reintroduced service as well as social activities in a secure environment that is a face-to-face. The new possibilities were accompanied by the best practices for preventing pandemics to provide a fresh and promising outlook for Rotary. It's an encouraging thing to hear that 75% of Rotary clubs are planning to carry on their "business as usual" actions.
