Eva Mendes is an American actor and model. She was picked up by a talent agent who recognized her talents and urged her to select an occupation within the entertainment business. After much consideration, she dropped out of University to venture into the realm of entertainment. After being disappointed by her appearance, she made her debut film in Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. The actress worked tirelessly to develop her acting ability and appeared in a number of low-budget productions to prove her skills. This was no easy road for this actress but her determination and perseverance earned her acclaim. Her name was praised and she received positive reviews for her performance in the movie Training Day after which her acting career took off.
